A Cautionary Tale for Future Customers
If I could give zero stars on Google Reviews, I would.
I’m sharing my story so others don’t go through what I am.
🔄 Bait-and-Switch on My Door Order
I originally contracted for a PGT pivot door and windows. Without my authorization, the order was switched to a Euro-Wall door by RWI Supply of Ft. Myers, FL. I had no say in this change. By the time I discovered it, it was far too late to do anything about it.
I waited over 18 months for a front door and several windows. During that time, the owners of RWI Supply made promise after promise that everything was still on order from PGT. When they finally admitted those items were “unavailable,” they claimed to have “saved the day” by sourcing a Euro-Wall pivot door.
They didn’t save the day. They made it worse.
💸 Forced to Pay $8,000 Out of Pocket
When it came time for delivery, I was told I had to pay the remaining $8,000 directly to Euro-Wall, because RWI had no money and no credit. To get the door, I had no choice but to pay out of pocket.
The door was improperly installed by RWI Supply. Euro-Wall sent out a technician who confirmed the installation was incorrect and promised they would send parts and fix the issues. That was the last real help I got.
📭 Repeated Emails Ignored
I’ve emailed Euro-Wall multiple times asking for assistance.
The responses have been minimal, dismissive, or non-existent.
A recent reply from Jordan Meeks at Euro-Wall said:
“Hi Terry, from a Euro-Wall standpoint there isn’t a lot of options we can offer.”
I even offered to pay Euro-Wall’s own technicians—the same people who originally inspected the issue—to come out and fix it. They refused. Just “nope, nothing we can do.”
🌧 Water Leaks and Damage Risk
- The door has no exterior bottom weather stripping
- Very little on the sides
- Wind and light come through the gaps
- Water leaks in when it rains—I have to use towels to protect my hardwood floor
I’ve sent photos and documentation to Euro-Wall. Their response? Silence.
❗ Summary
- I paid $12,000 to RWI Supply
- And another $8,000 directly to Euro-Wall
- For a door that was installed incorrectly and remains defective
Neither company will take responsibility, and neither will fix it.
I now have a $20,000 pivot door that looks nice but performs terribly.
