🚪 My Original Door Order Was Switched Without Consent
I originally contracted for a PGT pivot door and windows — a decision I researched carefully. But without my knowledge or consent, RWI Supply unilaterally switched my order to a Euro-Wall door.
By the time I found out, it was too late to reverse it. I had been misled and boxed into a product I never approved.
⏳ 18 Months of Delays, Excuses, and Broken Promises
I waited over 18 months for the delivery of my front door and windows. During that time, the owners of RWI Supply repeatedly told me they were on order with PGT.
When they finally admitted those items were unavailable, I had already lost more than a year of time — and trust.
💰 Out of Pocket, Out of Luck
Worse yet, RWI didn’t have the money to pay for the door — so I had to personally pay Euro-Wall $8,000 to get the door delivered.
That’s right: I paid out of pocket to a manufacturer I didn’t choose, for a door I didn’t authorize, because the dealer failed to hold up their end of the deal.
🔧 Botched Installation and No Accountability
The door was installed incorrectly by RWI Supply.
When Euro-Wall inspected it, their own team agreed it was done wrong. And then? They vanished. No fix. No follow-up. No help.
I’ve emailed multiple times. The responses — when they come — are vague, dismissive, or non-existent.
🌧️ Every Rainstorm Brings Water Into My Home
To this day, my Euro-Wall pivot door is missing weather stripping on the bottom and barely sealed on the sides.
When it rains, water comes in. I have to put towels at the base of the door just to protect my wood floors. This is not just unacceptable — it’s negligence.
🧾 Bottom Line: I Paid the Price, Literally and Figuratively
- I was misled into a product switch I didn’t authorize
- I was forced to pay $8,000 directly to the manufacturer
- I received a door that was installed wrong and never fixed
- And now, I live with the consequences while the companies involved ignore me
⚠️ My Message to Other Homeowners
If you’re considering a Euro-Wall pivot door — or working with RWI Supply — think twice. Ask questions. Get everything in writing. And don’t assume anyone will take responsibility when things go wrong.
Because in my case, nobody has.
